Location

This Carmel-by-the-Sea hotel lies about 25 minutes on foot from Stillwater Cove and 2.3 km from the scenic bird sanctuary "Carmel River State Beach". At the Stilwell Carmel-by-the-Sea you'll be approximately 800 metres from Carmel Beach.

Guests will also appreciate the vicinity to Mission Trails Preserve, located only 1.1 km away. The nearby shopping sights include Carmel Plaza, which is merely a 5-minute walk away.

Rooms

Overlooking the mountain, the 41 rooms are appointed with air conditioning, as well as modern facilities such as a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. There is also a private bathroom. You'll find nice touches like a separate toilet and a shower/bath combination, along with a hairdryer and bath sheets to enhance your stay.

Eat & Drink

Guests can enjoy a selection of Italian dishes at La Dolce Vita Ristorante situated a stone's throw from Stilwell Hotel.

Leisure & Business

The hotel is also convenient for going hiking.

“The big draw is its prime location, putting guests within an easy stroll of both upscale shopping and Carmel Beach. Expect immaculate, modern rooms, but the outdoor fire pits and stone-baked pizza add a social touch you might not anticipate from such a polished property. I was especially impressed with the attention to detail, like motion sensor lighting; they have clearly thought of everything.”
